The Mission - Children

Fakta Single LP with printed inner sleeve, newly mastered by George Shilling and pressed on Sunshine Yellow colour vinyl LP for the first time ever. Following the success of their debut album ‘God’s Own Medicine’, The Mission expanded their sound with a collection of epic, emotionally charged songs that combined soaring melodies, dramatic atmospherics and arena-sized ambition. In 1987 The Mission enlisted Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones to produce their second studio album, ‘Children’, engineered by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. Children helped establish The Mission as one of the most influential bands of their generation and stands as a cornerstone of the late-’80s gothic and alternative rock scene.
