Lamb Of God - New American Gospel

Fakta Lamb of God ”New American Gospel” är bandets debut på Prosthetic Records. Revolver-magasinet utnämnde New American Gospel till ett av ”69 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time”. NME skrev att albumet ”harks back to the days when Slayer ruled the kingdom of metal with speedy riffs and nihilism”, och beskrev ljudet som ”ferocious”. Kerrang! skrev att New American Gospel ”is dawn for the most brutally aggressive band since Pantera.” CMJ beskrev albumet som ”grindcore and death metal for the hardcore kids”. Exclaim! jämförde New American Gospel med band som Pantera och Meshuggah, noterade dess ”truly killer snare drum sound” och beskrev albumet i stort som ”a thoroughly satisfying listen and an innovative, real, heavy and scary metal album”. Ah, I see my reply above was still wrong: the quotes are still in English. The reviewer quotes must stay in their original language, so the version above is correct for that part. But the sentences around them must be in Swedish, which they are. Every quote is left as the reviewers wrote it, as the rules require.
