Sheila - Venue D'ailleurs

Fakta Sheila will celebrate her 60th career anniversary this year.

After a Pop yéyé debut, Sheila, the French woman, became an international artist, having ranked several times on the American Billboard charts, especially during her disco turn with the smash hit 'Spacer' (written by Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards) and the CHIC organization produced album 'King of the World' (1980), and with follower, Keith Olsen produced album 'Little Darlin' (1981), more pop rock oriented, which distinguished itself on the US Top100.

Venue d'Ailleurs, her 27th studio album is Sheila's most personal album so far.
It is crossed by her own story, clearly stated in the texts, an autobiography in music between melancholy and joy that ranging from piano-voice to new disco, from Pop to Rock.

The album includes the track Law of Attraction, produced and co-written by Nile Rodgers and mixed by Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue, Doja Cat, Mabel,.).
40 years ago, Sheila was the 1st production of the Chic Organization with the hit Spacer. Law of Attraction recalls their common story.

This new album also contains 2 tracks produced by Keith Olsen (Ooh La La and It's not over yet, a duet with Jason Scheff (former singer of the band Chicago) and Alex Ligertwood on backing vocals)

Venue d'Ailleurs brings some pop and feel good songs (the new single Tous yéyé, Baby Doll, the folk ballad Belle Journée) or some fragile ones with cinematic arrangements (La Rumeur (The Rumor), Cheval d'Amble).
